Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at A2Z cash 'n' Carry. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and credit terms, and ensuring adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of merchandise.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to optimize purchasing costs.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Review sales data and market trends to determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality and pricing standards.
  • Supervise the work of other buyers to ensure that purchasing tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
