We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at MNG Builders Inc.

Responsibilities

As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects. You will work closely with our team to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare estimates of labor and/or material costs
* Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
* Operate CADD and other computer software systems
* Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
* Utilize quantity take-off procedures
* Advise on tendering procedures
* Analyze tenders and recommend awards
* Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
* Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
* Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors
* Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
