Job Title: Truck Driver

Simran Carrier Corp. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Pre-Trip, En-Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform thorough inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of accident or incident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports, and trip reports.
Requirements:
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks), and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Communication Systems: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Security and Safety: Pass a criminal record check, driving record check, drug test, and medical exam.
  • Transportation/Travel: Valid driver's license, willing to travel for extended periods, and willing to travel overnight.
Work Environment:

As a Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
