Job Summary

Rossignol Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent mechanical failures and ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Repair and Replacement: Diagnose and repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including diesel engines, truck-trailer systems, and automotive systems.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications and ensure all work meets our high standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including problems encountered and solutions implemented.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift, bend, and work in a physically demanding environment.
