Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Planet Press Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pressroom, ensuring efficient production and high-quality output.

About the Role

This is a permanent position offering an estimated salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Production Supervisor, you will be expected to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise the press crew on product specifications and material requirements
  • Maintain production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Review job orders to determine production time, colour sequence, and quantities required
  • Fault-find and troubleshoot issues during press runs
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance to junior staff members
  • Monitor quality control and implement corrective actions as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and willingness to relocate
