About the Role

Sunny Landscaping Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients' properties are well-manicured and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our construction team to build and install various landscape features, such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
  • Tie and Secure Plants: Safely and efficiently secure plants, trees, and other vegetation to prevent damage or loss.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the health and appearance of our clients' plants and trees through regular pruning, trimming, and weeding.
  • Cut Grass: Operate lawn mowers and other equipment to maintain our clients' lawns at a high standard.
  • Rake and Collect Refuse: Remove debris and litter from our clients' properties, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Regularly inspect and remove any litter or garbage from our clients' properties.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist with the transportation and application of topsoil, mulch, and other materials to our clients' properties.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Install new sod or seed to our clients' lawns, ensuring a lush and healthy appearance.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Plant and maintain a variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance our clients' properties.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Safely apply fertilizers to our clients' plants and lawns to promote healthy growth.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Regularly water and maintain our clients' plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure they remain healthy and thriving.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Safely operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Work Setting: This role involves working in various locations, including residential and commercial properties.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
