About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Employer Engagement Coordinator to join our team at WCG International Consultants Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work with employers and help them meet their labor market needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to employers, including conducting needs analysis and recommending appropriate supports and local resources.
  • Manage employer referrals, including transitioning job vacancies to filled positions and ensuring that required paperwork and data is completed in a timely manner.
  • Develop and execute events that engage employers, such as job fairs, roundtable discussions, and information sessions.
  • Work closely with industry stakeholders to develop talent pipelines and sector pathways.
  • Provide support to resolve client complaints and disputed referrals.
  • Undertake standard and ad hoc data entry tasks and content development.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge and experience in providing workforce development information to employers.
  • Experience working in an outcomes/target-based environment.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with a proven sales aptitude.
  • Strong digital literacy skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong verbal communications skills and the ability to present information in group settings.
  • Proven event management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as work within a team.
  • Knowledge of local labor market trends.
  • Excellent group facilitation skills.
  • Results-driven, with a creative approach to idea generation and problem-solving.
