SIMPLE NETWORKS CANADA is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in computer network administration and maintenance. As a Cyber Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating and installing computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Alternatively, they may have equivalent experience that demonstrates their ability to perform the job requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users.
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
  • A permanent full-time position with 40 hours of work per week.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in computer network administration and maintenance.
