We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Software Developer to join our Technology Solutions team at CMHC - SCHL. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing the next generation of software applications to enable CMHC to achieve its strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using a range of technologies, including.NET development, ReactJS, NodeJS, and Azure Function App.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications and diagrams.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure CMHC's software applications remain competitive and secure.
Requirements
  • A college diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of application development experience, including programming.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle management and information management practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
