About the Opportunity

Baptist Housing is seeking a compassionate and strategic leader to drive clinical education and continuous improvement initiatives in our long-term care, assisted living, and independent living communities. As the Clinical Educator/Practice Lead, you will provide clinical consultation, education, quality assurance, and improvement supports while navigating change and disseminating best practices through education and training.

About the Role

You will be instrumental in reviewing quality-focused data, identifying areas for improvement, and spearheading the development and implementation of education and quality improvement plans. Your expertise will ensure compliance with professional, legal industry standards and organizational requirements. You will provide leadership in the clinical practice setting while supporting staff in coaching and skills updates.

Requirements

  • Graduated from a recognized school of nursing and is registered with BCCNM.
  • Alternatively, possess a degree in a recognized health science or professional program.
  • Possess five years of healthcare experience.
  • 5 years' experience with adult education or clinical instruction.
  • Two years of clinical experience are required, with a preference for long-term care experience.
  • Certification in a gerontology program is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, featuring an annual salary range of $101,000 to $119,000 per year. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with generous vacation time. Additionally, we provide RRSP matching contributions and support for your ongoing professional development.
