Job Description
The successful candidate will be an integral member of our interprofessional healthcare team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family-centered care. Your responsibilities will include working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, communicating effectively, and being receptive to unit and site change initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have completion of an accredited practical nurse education program, active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA), and current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification. You should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and be receptive to participating in unit and site change initiatives.
