Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Director to join our team at Performance Auto Group.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position that will involve leading our financial services operations and managing a team of professionals. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in automotive financial services, OMVIC certification, and strong leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a positive attitude. They will also be well-spoken, friendly, and articulate, with a valid Ontario driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as liaison between customers and financial institutions to obtain financing, insurance, licensing, and other personal information.
  • Prepare credit applications for all customers and provide alternate solutions for those not immediately approved for financing.
  • Examine required paperwork with customers to complete transactions efficiently.
  • BUILD relationships with customers to close deals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain confidentiality on sensitive customer information.
  • Evaluate deals according to lender and dealership guidelines.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Automotive Financial Services.
  • OMVIC Certification required.
  • Dealer CRM system experience required.
  • Previous sales experience in automotive, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Able to work under changing conditions.
  • Persuasive negotiating skills.
  • Positive attitude under pressure.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Experience with Google Suite & Dealership Management Systems an asset.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on knowledge, experience, commission, and bonus earnings. We also offer excellent benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, disability, critical illness, and life insurance, as well as an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) for your wellness.
