The Purpose Immigration Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Strategic Financial Director to lead its financial operations and drive business growth.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgeting strategies to achieve business objectives.
    • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals to ensure effective financial operations and efficient use of resources.
    • Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Cash Management and Funding:
    • Oversee cash flow management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and short-term investments.
    • Manage relationships with external funding partners and negotiate funding agreements.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the immigration services industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving financial goals and driving business growth.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
