Job Description:
We seek a Senior Financial Lines Underwriter to analyze and underwrite new and renewal business, proactively seeking opportunities and fostering relationships with brokers and customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing and underwriting new and renewal business
- Proactively seeking renewal and new account opportunities
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with broker partners and customers
- Demonstrating continuous learning and curiosity
- Active involvement in business projects to enhance product and service offerings
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree with 6 or more years' experience in commercial P&C underwriting
- Knowledge of lines of business and legal and regulatory guidelines
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- French language skills are required for candidates applying to the Montreal office location
- Verbal and written proficiency in English is required
