  8. Delegate tasks and manage team workloads, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.
  9. Lead by example, cultivating a collaborative, inclusive environment that encourages continuous learning and development.
  10. Apply advanced knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code, BC Building Code, and National Building Code to electrical design projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  11. Demonstrate a solid understanding of structured wiring systems, intelligent building concepts, and sustainable design principles.
  12. Identify and mitigate contractual and professional liabilities throughout the design and construction phases, ensuring risks are managed effectively.
  13. Engage with clients, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction to ensure seamless communication and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  14. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
  15. Present and communicate technical solutions clearly, contributing to project success and client satisfaction.
  16. Ensure all project close-out processes are completed to the highest standards, with all documentation and systems in place.

  3. Expertise in Revit and BIM processes for electrical design and coordination.
  4. Strong leadership skills, with a history of managing and mentoring junior engineers and technical staff.
  5. Deep understanding of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
  6. Proven experience in power distribution, lighting, and life safety systems design.
  7. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
