Key Roles Director, Office Infrastructure Development

We are seeking an experienced Key Roles Director to lead the development of our office infrastructure. This role will be responsible for planning and overseeing the design of our office spaces, ensuring they meet business requirements while reflecting the unique character of the local community.
About the Role- This is a full-time contract role that will provide oversight and leadership to the planning and design of office and branch space, incorporating best practices and achieving corporate climate and accessibility goals.
- The successful candidate will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from our head office location and their home office.
- Develop and implement office design standards within established guidelines to ensure maximum utilization and flexibility while meeting all reasonable user requirements.
- Specify the quality of construction materials used at Vancity, effectively balancing environmental impacts against business requirements.
- Oversee the long-term office space plan, including forecasts of future needs and managing the overall distribution of staff among office space premises.
- Manage all office furniture maintenance related items.
- 5+ years' experience including supervisory experience and budget management.
- An undergraduate degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering.
- Professional registration is preferred.
- Technical experience with CAD is preferred.
- A relationship builder – you can adapt your interpersonal and intercultural skills to various target audiences inclusive of those from equity denied groups.
- A project manager – you can shift from big-picture to detail effortlessly.
- A people leader – you work effectively with people and recognize own limitations and boundaries.
- An excellent communicator – you use your written, spoken, interpersonal, intercultural and public speaking skills to communicate complex material effectively.
The salary range for this role is $91,000 to $136,400 per annum. The mid-point of the role is likely to be up to $113,700 annually. In addition to 13 statutory holidays, we provide comprehensive health care and dental benefits.
