Job Title: Director / Senior Director, Par Management Actuary
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Actuary Director to lead our Par Management Actuary team. As a key member of our actuarial leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to our Par Management Actuary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality actuarial services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of actuarial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert actuarial advice to senior management on Par valuation and product review.
- Manage and coordinate the production of actuarial reports and analyses to support business planning and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, actuaries, and other business partners.
- Lead and manage a team of actuaries to deliver high-quality actuarial services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our actuarial services.
Requirements:
- University degree holder in Actuarial Science or related field.
- Professional actuarial qualifications (e.g. FIA, FIAA, etc.).
- Minimum 10 years' experience in insurance industry, with a strong background in actuarial management.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead a team of actuaries.
- Effective command of English, both spoken and written.
