Job Title: Director / Senior Director, Par Management Actuary
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Actuary Director to lead our Par Management team. As a key member of our actuarial leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to our Par Management function, ensuring that our policies and procedures are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of Par Management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the Par Management team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Par Management is aligned with business objectives and strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to inform Par Management strategies and decisions.
Requirements:
- University degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
- Professional actuarial qualifications (e.g. FIA, FSA, etc.).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in actuarial science and Par Management.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
