Job Summary

Levant Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution

Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS systems, and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Team Collaboration

Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, working closely with colleagues to ensure efficient and safe transportation.

Cargo Handling

Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

Vehicle Maintenance

Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle maintenance and performing emergency roadside repairs.

Logistics Coordination

Receive and relay information to central dispatch, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Cargo Security

Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo, including the transportation and handling of hazardous materials.

Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses

AZ class license and other relevant certifications.
