Position Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and optimizing business operations, ensuring efficiency, innovation, and growth. This role requires overseeing project execution, resource management, financial performance, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strategic & Business Planning
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define and execute the company's strategic vision and long-term goals.
  • Financial & Resource Management
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to optimize company profitability.
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing operations team, including project managers, engineers, and technical staff.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a key point of contact for municipal, provincial, and other agencies, ensuring strong client relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in operations, asset management, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of municipal asset management frameworks, lifecycle planning, and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial acumen, including budget management, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
