Job Title: Data Services Team Lead

Job Summary

The Data Services Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of technicians in the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services for assigned facilities. This role ensures that work is performed in accordance with established processes and practices, and is compliant with all internal and external requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the execution of activities and performance to ensure timely completion and adherence to all requirements.
  • Provide input for performance reviews.
  • Monitor and maintain facility, mechanical, and electrical equipment and systems to ensure uptime objectives are met.
  • Conduct facility walkthroughs, mechanical, and electrical equipment and system monitoring and inspection.
  • Oversee and maintain work order records within the service management maintenance database.
  • Coordinate and assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
  • Participate in facility-related projects.
  • Provide, participate, and support training, safety meetings, operational meetings, and tool box talks.
Requirements
  • Facility operations and maintenance work experience.
  • High school diploma plus trades training and certification.
  • Advanced ability to adhere to processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance.
  • Ability to maintain and repair building mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
  • Building mechanical and electrical equipment and system troubleshooting and resolution skills.
  • Current knowledge of fire, life, safety, and building codes and standards.
  • Effective communication skills for data relay, exchange, feedback, and clarification.
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
  • Journeyman level Refrigeration license.
  • Journeyman level Electrical license.
  • Journeyman level Plumbing license.
  • Building Operator Certification.
  • Systems Maintenance Administration Certification considered an asset.
