Job Title: Production Worker

At Farm Boy, our mission is to create a fun and fresh shopping experience for all. As a team member, you will play a key role in helping us achieve this goal.

About the Role:

  1. Prepare and package high-quality products for our retail stores, ensuring they meet strict Food Safety standards.
  2. Assist in product distribution to Retail outlets, maintaining a high standard of product presentation, quality, and food safety.
  3. Participate in cleaning and sanitation practices, adhering to Government regulations and Farm Boy Kitchen policies.
  4. Ensure proper Health and Safety practices are followed to optimize efficiency, work safety, and food safety.
  5. Provide input and assistance as requested by the Management team for various operational tasks.

Requirements:

  1. Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience in food service retail or production operation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects as assigned.
  3. Good organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  4. Ability to make sound decisions and carry out initiatives timely and effectively.
  5. Willingness to strictly adhere to company policies and procedures with little supervision.

Working Conditions:

  1. Required to wear protective clothing or equipment during shift.
  2. Ability to work in a cool environment for prolonged periods (4 to 6 degrees Celsius).
  3. Exposure to workplace hazards, including icy floors, spills, and equipment malfunctions.
  4. Required to lift, carry, and/or handle heavy objects.
  5. Required to stand for extended periods of time while performing production work.
  6. Repetitive bending and twisting movements are required.
