Position Purpose:

The 4th Class Power Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the equipment and the building, reporting directly to the Facility Manager.

This role involves processing regulated medical waste, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting daily problems on production equipment, and liaising with provincial pressure vessel inspectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process regulated medical waste
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and building
  • Troubleshoot daily problems on production equipment
  • Liaise with provincial pressure vessel inspectors
  • Complete necessary documentation
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a community college certificate/diploma degree in 4th Class Power Engineer and 1+ years of experience in operational and maintenance. Good knowledge and understanding of forklift, welding, and warehouse operations are also preferred.

Additionally, experience managing staff and a strong understanding of safety protocols are highly valued.
