Job Summary

At SYS Trucking, we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul Professional to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods over long distances, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate documentation and payment
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs
  • Record and maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Weight handling capacity up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver - Long Haul Professional, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and terrain. You will be required to work independently and as part of a two-person team or convoy.
