Job Title: Truck Driver

MRG Contracting Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance.
  • Transport Goods and Materials: Safely transport goods and materials from one location to another, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Cargo: Load and unload cargo from the vehicle, ensuring it is properly secured and handled.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Perform Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs, including brake adjustments and other necessary maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Air Brake Endorsement: Hold an Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Medical Exam: Pass a medical exam to ensure fitness for duty.
  • Driving Record: Have a clean driving record, with no major infractions.
Working Conditions:

The Truck Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel and varying weather conditions. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
