At Alberta Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist I to join our team. As a Physiotherapist I, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clients with various physical conditions and disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to promote optimal physical function and independence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Proficient problem-solving skills, including analytical thinking and conflict resolution/negotiation.
- Effective written, verbal, communication, and computer skills.
- Strong and effective leadership skills, as well as organizational skills.
- Experience with Connect Care (electronic medical record) is considered an asset.
- Experience in leading or coordinating services and teams, while working closely with interdisciplinary team members is ideal.
- Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association is an asset.
