Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic - Millwright to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and machinery, including presses, shafting, and conveyors.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly installed, maintained, and functioning within specifications.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels of spare parts, lubricants, and other materials.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other maintenance personnel to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Provincial Trade License: Possess a valid Provincial Trade License or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience maintaining metal stamping presses, coil feeding equipment, servo transfer systems, overhead cranes, compressors, and chillers.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of press room equipment, general fabrication, and machine rebuilding. Metal fabricating experience is required.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Able to work with limited supervision and communicate effectively with team members and management.
