Job Title: Residential Care Worker

Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide essential support services to adult clients engaged in addiction treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and be present with clients in a non-judgmental and empathetic manner.
  • Respond to client needs and requests in a timely and flexible manner.
  • Conduct facility orientations and facilitate educational sessions and client house meetings.
  • Perform light housekeeping and maintenance duties to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Coordinate and distribute client and program supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Document client interactions and progress according to role requirements.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 education (MB Standards) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in an in-house facility, addictions-related employment, or volunteer work.
  • Valid CPR-C with AED training and First Aid certificate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs and internet applications.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
