Job Title: Personal Caregiver

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Caregiver to join our team at Bayshore HealthCare. As a Personal Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging in activities and conversations that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
