About the Job

We are seeking passionate and caring Registered Practical Nurses (RPN/LPN) to join our team at Bayshore Healthcare. As a home health care professional, you will use your clinical skills to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality care in the comfort and safety of their homes.

Job Overview

This role is part of our community visit nursing program, where you will work independently and as part of a team to provide outstanding care to our clients. You will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and delivering nursing care to clients in a community setting, as per the nursing care plan and in accordance with all required internal and external professional practice standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide client care by utilizing the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching
  • Perform routine nursing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and Standards of Nursing Practice as defined by the provincial licensing body
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discuss same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
Requirements
  • You have a current nursing license in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario
  • You have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
  • You have at least two years of nursing experience (community experience would be an asset)
  • You have proof of a current Negative TB test
  • You have a current/clear vulnerable sector/police check
  • A current CPR certificate is required
