About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at marché du faubourg Place Jacques-Cartier INC. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing stockouts.
  • Merchandising and Visual Displays: Plan and implement visually appealing store displays, ensuring products are merchandised effectively to drive sales.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Staff Development: Train and develop sales staff, providing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong leadership and management skills.
