Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Master Builder to join our team at SEA TO SKY PRECISION CONSTRUCTION LTD. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing layouts in accordance with building codes, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. They will also build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate layouts and measurements using various tools
  • Cut, shape, assemble and join materials according to specifications
  • Built foundations, install floor beams and lay subflooring as needed
  • Erect walls and roof systems to ensure structural integrity
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware as required
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar position. You should have a strong understanding of building codes and regulations, as well as excellent physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position requiring 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision coverage, as well as a generous paid time off policy.
