Job Summary

We are seeking a Chief Process Engineer to provide technical direction and stewardship of process designs on all projects. The successful candidate will contribute to operational excellence in the department, providing technical expertise and resolving process-related technical problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical stewardship of all process design works, in cooperation with the Process Department Manager.
  • Provide specialist process engineering input and oversight on an as-required basis.
  • Troubleshoot process engineering issues across multiple projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor corporate procedures and standards related to all process engineering activities.
  • Assist in developing cost estimates, manhour estimates, and process work plans.
  • Develop, manage, and implement in-house calculation tools and guidelines.
  • Analyze leading-edge systems and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Health and Safety program.
  • Assist with business development and client relationships.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) within the province of Alberta.
  • Chemical Engineering or related Engineering degree.
  • Minimum 20+ year's oil and gas experience with focus on Process Design.
