Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement audio-visual hardware and related components for the City of Toronto.
  • Create and preside over the Office & Space Modernization Portfolio Steering Committee and lead the conduit to the Executive Steering Committee.
  • Design and architect scalable and sustainable solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Configure and customize sustainment modules, including IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, and IT Asset Management.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Technology Services team and other divisional stakeholders on audio-visual capabilities, best practices, and implementation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration specifications, knowledge articles, and deployment procedures.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal team members on audio-visual features, functionality, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) from AVIXA highly preferred.
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms Certified Systems and Peripherals, Microsoft Teams Devices Certification Program, or Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro and Basic Licenses desired.
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals or Microsoft Certified Power Platform Fundamentals desired.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and architecture to support audio-visual platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing audio-visual hardware, including workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with audio-visual integration technologies.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams.
  • IT operations experience across IT practices, enterprise processes, and portfolio level implementations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
