Job Summary:

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Broadcast & Event AV Operator to support the operation and technical activities for all live events, webcasts, and other meetings held in the RBC's Waterpark Auditorium and RBC's Plaza event locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day operations of audio/visual/lighting equipment
  • Support live events, webcasts, and other meetings
  • Set up and broadcast webcasts and videoconferences
  • Edit and export video files
  • Route AV signals via Crestron and Blackmagic video system
  • Custom lighting setup for various event/webcasting scenarios
  • Operation of remote lighting controls before and during live events/webcasts
  • Live multi-channel audio mixing
  • Able to work well independently or part of a team
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge and capabilities in all aspects of audio/video technical direction and operation of broadcast technology
  • Excellent understanding of all equipment to accurately assess, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to effectively communicate with senior-level executives
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Word, Excel)
