About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Audio-Visual Sales Specialist to join our team at Solotech. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for serving customers in person, on the phone, by email, and/or responding to requests made via the Internet.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer calls in a courteous and professional manner to meet their needs for audio-visual equipment and services;
  • Communicate with customers in an engaging manner using language they are familiar with;
  • Assist in the development and guidance of the Inside Sales team;
  • Share knowledge of Solotech's products, operations, and internal competencies with the team;
  • Help follow up on various customer files;
  • Ensure proper inventory management and propose equivalents for hard-to-get products by prioritizing those available in the various warehouses;
  • Provide detailed information on a wide range of products and solutions sold;
  • Handle objections and disputes effectively, using active listening and counter-proposal techniques to strike a balance with the customer (customer service).
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of technologies and products sold, as well as a general understanding of all solutions offered by Solotech;
  • Record transactions in a computerized system and ensure payment of purchases.

Your Profile:

  • Bilingual: French and English;
  • College diploma or equivalent technical training;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in audio-visual or electronics sales;
  • Variable working hours depending on opening hours.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
