Lead Security Operations in Sudbury

GardaWorld is seeking a seasoned security professional to fill the role of Operations Manager in Sudbury. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your experience in personnel management to lead and manage staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our security services. Your expertise in unionized environments and ability to interact with clients and stakeholders will be invaluable in this position.

The Operations Manager will be based out of our Sudbury Office, managing staff from North Bay to Timmins and Sault Ste Marie. You will work closely with Account Managers to ensure sites are running smoothly and clients are receiving exceptional service. This role requires flexibility, as you will need to travel to various locations and be available outside regular hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and ensure the smooth running of operations for the Sudbury Branch and Portfolio of clients
  • Develop and implement procedures and policies for security operations
  • Manage staff performance
  • Interact with clients
  • Scheduling, recruitment, and other operational requirements as needed

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in personnel management in a unionized environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English an asset)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Valid security guard license and first aid card
  • Available to work flexible hours
  • Have a clean criminal record
  • Be eligible to work in Canada
