Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at BC LTD DBA Holiday Inn Express & Suites.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, common areas, and facilities. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, making beds, and changing sheets.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to provide a comfortable and clean sleeping environment for our guests
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to ensure our guests have everything they need
  • Provide basic information on hotel facilities and services to our guests
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Client focus and ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively with others
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. They will be required to lift, bend, and move objects as needed.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.Work Schedule:

The successful candidate will be required to work 35 hours per week.
