About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure AI Engineer to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based AI and ML solutions that drive business value and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based AI and ML solutions using Azure services such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, and Azure Cognitive Services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and ML capabilities into our cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain cloud automation scripts using Azure CLI, PowerShell, and Terraform.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of AI and ML solutions in accordance with TD's internal security and compliance controls.
  • Participate in the development of APIs, SDKs, and Webhooks for multi-directional integration of cloud orchestration platforms with enterprise systems, DevOps tools, and cloud platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and ML, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud-based solutions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in AI and ML platform engineering, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong expertise in developing platform orchestration code in Azure Python SDK, Terraform, and GitHub Runners.
  • Understanding of different GenAI models, development frameworks (Langchain, Semantic Kernel), and AI ecosystem tooling (evaluation, monitoring, governance, security, vector databases).
  • Ability to understand and identify security risks related to GenAI and techniques.
  • Understanding of major components of RAG applications, usage patterns, and optimization.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take independent action to achieve results.
  • Highly developed critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
