Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Guru's Pizza Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that food is presented attractively and consistently
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in food service management, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Food Safety Certificate and other relevant certifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure
