Job Title: Personal Care Attendant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Heffermans Guest Home. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely and efficiently.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts.
