Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at CareGivers. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and support to clients
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Certificate of Conduct
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Reference required
  • Immunization records
  • Tuberculosis test
  • Vulnerable sector check
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, and may be required to travel to different locations. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care and support to clients.
