About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and psycho-social recovery of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote functional independence and quality of life
  • Educate clients on safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities
  • Support return-to-work programs and provide job coaching and accommodation recommendations
  • Document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development and FCE Trained
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long term disability, and WCB referrals is an asset
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset
