Job Title: Vice President of Consumer Protection

Join the Condominium Authority of Ontario (CAO) as we seek a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Consumer Protection to lead our efforts in protecting the rights of condominium consumers. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance consumer protection, compliance, and data management.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee the provision of information and education services to condominium communities, including the development of training programs and resources.
  • Lead the development and implementation of data management and analytics strategies to inform business decisions and drive organizational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement initiatives to enhance consumer protection and compliance.
  • Represent the CAO at industry events and conferences, promoting our mission and values.

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in business administration, public administration, law, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant leadership experience in the not-for-profit or public sector.
  • Experience in consumer protection, compliance, and data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
