Fortinet, Inc. is a leading provider of innovative cybersecurity solutions. We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our FortiGuard operation team. Our consumer-facing services handle high traffic volumes worldwide, and Service Reliability and Security are our top priorities.

About the Role:

  1. Design, develop, and administer infrastructure as code (IaC) tools/systems to automate deployments, manage operating systems, and applications.
  2. Design and deploy global OpenStack and Kubernetes clusters, ensuring measures for securing and protecting applications and data within the cluster.
  3. Manage Linux servers (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS), network administration (switches, routers, firewalls), and monitoring key performance metrics.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve security appliances, servers, storage, Kubernetes, and network issues.
  5. Develop, maintain, and execute automation and self-service solutions using various tools and scripts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of practical administration experience in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) as a server platform, with production-level software and hardware knowledge.
  • Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and knowledge of monitoring network/server systems (Zabbix, Cacti).
  • Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and industry-standard protocols (TCP/IP, Apache, DNS, LDAP).
  • Highly organized, able to multitask, and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Bonus Experience:

  • Knowledge of OpenStack and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and DevOps tools.

Educational Requirements:

  • A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification for CCIE and RHCE would be beneficial.
