Job Summary

Smitty's Restaurant & Lounge is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. This is a permanent opportunity with 30-40 hours per week, offering a chance to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your culinary skills.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with no degree, certificate or diploma but at least 1 year of experience in cooking. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods, supervising kitchen staff and helpers, and maintaining a clean kitchen and work area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient service and maintain high-quality food standards.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to meet health and safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

  • No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in cooking.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
