Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Coffee Shop Team Member to join our team at Aroma Espresso Bar- Vaughan Mills Mall. As a Retail Coffee Shop Team Member, you will be responsible for providing an amazing experience for our customers, efficiently handling transactions, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the store.



Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:



  • Sales Operations: Ringing in sales on the POS terminal, accurately handling customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and addressing any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Operations: Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the store, restocking inventory, and assisting with order placement.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicating effectively with other team members in both the Front and Back of House, ensuring seamless operations and a positive work environment.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Following food safety standards and protocols, ensuring the quality of our products, and maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.
  • Continuous Learning: Learning the baking instructions, making sure pastries are baked and displayed nicely, and staying up-to-date with new menu items and promotions.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • Availability: Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a range of up to 40 hours per week.
  • Skills: Positive attitude, passion for food and coffee, and excellent customer service skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25-30lbs and reliably travel to and from the store.
