About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer Manager to join our Fraud Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that support business strategies and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expertise in data modeling, engineering, visualization, and analytics to develop fact-based operational insights.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements into metrics, technical design, and wireframes.
  • Develop and implement data pipelines, dimensional data models, and Azure Cloud solutions to provide insights into business problems.
  • Support the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, in establishing and enhancing BI framework and standards.
  • Prioritize fixes for defects, monitor report usage, and identify value-add functionalities to improve adoption.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL and dimensional data modeling.
  • 1-2 years working with Azure Cloud – SQL MI, Data Factory, and Data Flow.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
