About the Role
The Quality Assurance Manager for Locomotives and Freight will oversee the organization's quality assurance processes. This involves ensuring that all inspections are conducted efficiently, safely, and in accordance with relevant regulations. The role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
* Coordinate with internal teams to schedule inspections and maintenance activities
* Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies and standards
* Collaborate with external partners to identify areas for improvement
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among team members

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or quality control
* Proven experience in quality assurance management, preferably in a unionized environment
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including AAR and Transport Canada
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
* Valid G driver's license and ability to travel up to 25% of the time
