About This Opportunity
Squashim Nation is seeking a skilled Health Care Assistant to join its Yúustway Health and Wellness Department. The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the team, providing high-quality care to clients in their homes. The role requires a combination of relevant experience, education, and training, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. The Health Care Assistant will be responsible for providing clients with personal care and light homemaking services, including basic housekeeping, moderately complex medical assistance, and follow-up procedures.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Provide personal care and light homemaking services to clients in their homes.
- Assist clients with basic housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
- Administer medications and provide moderately complex medical assistance, as trained.
- Follow up with clients and report any changes or concerns to the Manager, Home and Community Care.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
